We are thrilled to offer a diverse range of dishes that showcase both local flavours and international influences, ensuring a memorable culinary journey for our guests. At Acacia Main Restaurant, we serve specialties like King Fish Steak accompanied by Viazi Vitamu, Mchicha & Tomato Chutney. The traditional Boma offers an authentic African dining experience under the stars, while Kisimani Poolside Bistro & Bar provides refreshing fare, and our intimate Divai chef's table offers a unique dining experience with wine pairings.
How do you incorporate local Tanzanian flavours and ingredients into the menus?
We take great pride in celebrating the rich culinary heritage of Tanzania, and it's a key focus in our menu development. We source fresh produce from local farmers whenever possible, highlighting seasonal fruits and vegetables such as mchicha, cashew nuts, mangoes, and avocados to create vibrant, flavourful dishes. Our farm-to-table approach ensures freshness while supporting local communities.

The dish that truly embodies the Serengeti Explorer experience is our Grilled Nyama Choma at the Boma Restaurant, served with a side of Kachumbari. This traditional Tanzanian grilled meat dish not only reflects the rich culinary heritage of the region but also embodies the spirit of adventure that the Serengeti represents. One element that has garnered quite a bit of excitement is our 'Tanzanian Tasting Journey'—a surprise tasting menu that changes monthly and features playful, modern interpretations of traditional dishes. We've created contemporary presentations of traditional foods that combine Tanzanian flavors with international techniques, offering guests a unique culinary adventure.
