68 Savannah Rooms and 6 Savannah Suites, both in options of king-size and twin-bed configurations - including 3 interconnecting rooms and 3 with wheelchair access - flank an impressive elevated two-tiered Lodge that overlooks the Serengeti.

Savannah Rooms

All rooms have a private balcony with sweeping views of the vast plains whilst Explorer’s varied and flexible mix of accommodations is perfect for couples, friends, families and specialist groups of all sizes.

Our bathrooms offer new-age water saving fixtures, rain showers, excellent lighting and ample counter space for your travel amenities.

Rooms have a writing desk, coffee and tea making facilities, complimentary WiFi and a multitude of charging options and points for phones, cameras, tablets and laptops.

A 46 sq/m (495 sq/ft) with king-size bed or 2-twin beds, ensuite bedroom including a private balcony with daybed. 2 wheelchair- accessible rooms & 6 interconnected rooms for families are available.

Savannah Suites

The 1-bedroom Savannah Suites each have private expansive balconies, delivering on all expectations inside and out.

With en suite bathrooms, exceptionally comfortable beds, designer-led interiors and furnishings, each Suite possesses the characteristics of an African lodge but in a contemporary and a stylish manner.

A spacious 120 sq/m (1,292 sq/ft) with a king-size bed, a bath and shower and a separate lounge with a private balcony and including in-room amenities.

Maximum occupancy: 2 adults and 1 child under the age of 12 years, or 3 adults.

Chief's Suite

The Chief’s Suite is a two bedroom duplex that offers not only the dramatic views across the adjacent plains, but also the exclusivity and quality that one would expect of Explorer’s grandest suite.

A perfect repose for families or groups looking for that ‘little extra’ to enhance a safari experience.

A 2-bedroom duplex suite of a 122 sq/m (1,313 sq/ft). Bedroom one has a king-size bed and Bedroom two has a twin bed configuration; both rooms are en suite and have private balconies.

Maximum occupancy: 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children under the age of 12 years.
