Includes:

Twice-daily shared game drives plus transfers to and from the designated airstrips (Seronera), accommodation, laundry services, all meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner), so drinks, house beers, house wines and selected house spirits, teas, coffees, and refreshments (on the property and during game-drives).

Excludes:

Transfers (other than to and from our designated airstrips), items of a personal nature, extra meals or any additional dining experiences outside of the designated meal plan, flying doctors' medical evacuation insurance, flights & airport taxes, gratuities, park fees, conservancy fees, and camping fees - where applicable.

Whereas so drinks, house wines, house beers, and house spirits, selected teas and coffees are inclusive within GP, FB and HB rates, it is important to note that additional premier drinks and snacks may be chargeable. In all cases, chargeable items will be clearly highlighted to all guests.

Guests can enjoy tales of the Serengeti - from early man to the formation of the Serengeti as we know it today - courtesy of Explorer’s Serengeti specialist. This informative talk will last up to 1 hour during which time guests will be offered light refreshments, and be invited to visit to the Serengeti Information Centre.

For those keen on ornithology our in-house naturalist will introduce our guests to a variety of bird species that can be found within ear, eye, and lens shot of the property.

Each evening guests are invited to walk a short distance from the Lodge to a stargazing platform. With the aid of the naked eye and a state-of-the-art telescope our in-house expert will guide guests across the very same constellations that have lit up the night sky since time began. More information is available at reception each evening.

Guests will enjoy a relaxing and fun evening under the Serengeti night sky watching a selection of films from our movie archive. The sound is provided by headsets in order to create an immersive experience. The movie schedule will be advertised at reception and this is a post-dinner experience.

Serengeti Explorer provides an opportunity to get 'up close & personal' to the wildlife in Explorer’s semi-submerged observation hide located adjacent to the Lodge.

• Access is free of charge.

Keen photographers - of any level - can receive advice as to how to compose, take and edit their wildlife photography, courtesy of our skilled in-house photographer.

• Access to the photo editing studio is free of charge.
• Guests may also rent a camera bundle during their stay at an additional cost.

Book a yoga and/or meditation session with our qualified instructor from 'Reva' Wellness Centre.
For those with more energy, book a workout session in our well-equipped gymnasium with our resident gym instructor.

Guests can enjoy an exclusive-use vehicle - with experienced driver-guide for the day. Should guests wish to stay out all day, this exclusive-use vehicle includes the option of a picnic hamper* to allow guests to have a delicious bush luncheon without the need to return to the Lodge. Selected drink refreshments are also included within the vehicle.

Experience a rhino-tracking excursion for a half-day in the nearby Moru Kopjes area. This experience includes: return transfers in an game-drive vehicle to the protected rhino area; rhino tracking with an experienced guide - all within the comfort of your vehicle; and a picnic hamper* and selected beverages.

Aer a short transfer from the Lodge, guests will walk in the company of an experienced guide and a Park Ranger to discover more about the wildlife and other secrets of the bush. Refreshments are provided before and aer the walk.

Aer a short transfer to our bush dining tent, guests will start the day by having an unforgeable outdoor breakfast on the endless Serengeti plains, before heading back to the Lodge to begin their day's safari.

Explorer always celebrates a special occasion by recognising all our guests' special anniversaries - if known in advance. In addition, we can pre-bake a delicious dessert cake to make any celebration that much more special. Pre-booking is required.
